This floor cushion is made from over 130 handmade wool pompons. They are knotted precisely one to another to achieve a dense surface and this special pattern. The colorful splashes seem to be squirted accidentally over the surface and crocheted edge of this cushion. However, these splashes are exactly planed: for each pompon following up in the work a pre-defined sketch must be made and then wrapped into every woolen ball. The splattered color on the crocheted side of the cushion is done by a hand embroidery. Filling cushion is a special wadding and wool and has a base of wool felt. This design object is exclusively handmade in Germany and at MYKs studio in Berlin. Customizing in color and size is possible.
