After refurbishing these 100-year-old chairs, each became an upholstery with about 50 blossom pompons out of merino wool. The base of the upholstering ribbon was done the other way around so that the woolen balls came from inside the bottom to the top. The pompons are knotted densely to the felt base with crocheted cover. The floral design also spreads to the crocheted edge of the chair by hand embroidery. One of the three wooden struts at backrest was replaced by a row of pompons. These objects are exclusively handmade in Germany and at MYKs studio in Berlin.
These objects are one of a kind, but a similar chair can be made on order. Price on request.
