Armchair with bleached stripe

This armchair is a refurbished old wooden chair. It has an upholstery with over 250 handmade wool pompons from multicolor. They are knotted to a dense surface and cover the seating area and the backrest cushion. The bleached stripe is imitated by a two-tone color pattern which has been bundled into the pompons. A hand embroidery follows up the stripe in the backrest and into the crocheted side of the seating. All used materials are of high quality. This design object is exclusively handmade in Germany and at MYKs studio in Berlin. Customizing in color is possible.

This object is one of a kind, but a similar armchair can be made on order. Price on request.

Dimensions: Seating height 38cm, seating depth 48cm and width 64cm including armrests. Height of backrest 80cm. Total weight is around 24kg.
